Description Remember that dragon tutorial/ref thing I was working on?

I'm still working on it.

Definately two of two, I've not drawn the first one yet, but it's gonna be the over all structure of a wing, skeletal, muscles ETC...

If you feel something is wrong/missing, please tell me. Thank you.

Mine, feel free to look at and use as a referance, but do not claim as your own.

One thing about the Pterodactyl wings: I've been doing lots of research into animal anatomy to improve my dragon drawing skills, and came across this article regarding pterosaurs- [link] . It says that not only were they ENORMOUS (I thought they didn't get a whole lot bigger than today's modern birds XD), but evidence suggests they could power their own flight with occasional flapping. The article also states that they used their wings as limbs when walking on the ground, which is an excellent idea for wyverns

The article isn't very detailed and I have no idea if it's a valid source, but I thought you might find it interesting I think that pterosaur wings are probably a better design for gliding dragons, given that anything with bat or insect wings has to flap constantly to stay in the air.

You included ptero wings, thus I love you. :>

...Kind of weird, but it'd be interesting what you'd make of gossamer-like wings on dragons.

Gossamer? Like fearie?
Can you show me an example?

I mean like insect wings, with all the veins and folds and cases and whatnot. I'm not sure what you mean by "faerie wings", though, so sorry if that's what you meant.

That is pretty much what I meant, I might graze the subject, shape and form maybe, but to go into detail with insect wings would be just too much, especially since I know very little myself on that subject.
