Actually the genie is a guy named Sir Robin who was turned woman by a free sample of perfume, then was stripped of clothing by a bunny girl and then be covered by clothing that "Has a mind of it's own" followed by being stuffed inside a bottle by Lydia.
(Robin owed her money but he ran because he was broke)
Also i'd hope she's aware or it's murder. But at the same time she's being used inside the shop for 149 days against her will.
