Well, finally! This is my entry for ~AlucardHemlock 's DP OC Crew. I'm Taylor McKinley in the crew. He needs more attention.. heheh... And yeah, I did redesign his clothes. The contest topic was "What your OC did on summer vacation."

And what did our boy McKinley do? He went to an Ember concert! I mean, of course he's a major Em fanatic. Here he is posing with the rock star for a photo. Originally I was also gonna put Ember's "autograph" on the picture, but I decided not to later on.

This picture, I started way back in late June/July while I was still at Upward Bound; thus, it was left uncompleted for quite some time. Though when Allie updated the deadline, I decided that I'd have to get going! It didn't take very much... just some slight rearranging of the poses and the inking and the rest of it. I was going to make a much more detailed background, but the deadline was fast approaching, so I just made it a cardboard stand thing and a curtain. Yeah, I was lazy, too. There's not even any dark behind the curtain! I accidently made the floor slanted (yeah, I was rushing), so I put it in PSP7 and used the "deform" tool to turn the picture a little... the background is slightly off center, but it doesn't look too bad. Just... very lazied off. I had a hard time doing Ember's hair color. I didn't want it too dark, but I guess it would've been okay if I'd have gone darker... plus I realized her hair had a little bit of a more green/aqua tone to it. I dunno, I'm just coloring from memory.

I'm quite pleased with how the picture came out (well, the main subjects at least). Ah, I haven't submitted anything in so long! ^_^ Although you can still see the remnants of another drawing through the curtain. Ah well. *makes "psshht" hand gesture*

I think Tay got some free stuff from that concert... I dunno about you, but I'm gonna go and beg some off of him.
