the halfway point of the ultima keyblade project. It is soo awsome. It took 2 days of work, to finish the entire keyblade, and one day to get this far. All the holes done with a scroll saw.Related content

hello, i was wondering how you made this. I need to finish a project by the end of my school year. I have to make a movie for art. We have to show what we can do with a movie camera, and what kinda props we can make. I'm doing a Kingdom Hearts movie. I need to make three cutom keyblades. one for me, one for my friend James, and one for my friend Jaycie. they have to be of my own design. so i was wondering how you made this keyblade, how long it took,and what materials u needed. can you help me?

in order to make the keyblade, one needs a bandsaw, a jigsaw/scroll saw (the hand tool), some sort of drill piece (with a decent diameter)(wether it be a drill press or a hand drill) and a big piece of wooden board. I buy the pine boards that are 12 inches by 5 feet by 3/4 of an inch. Then I drew my design on the board and cut it out. Depending on the design it takes from 4 hours up. The ultima took 16 and Terra's keyblade took 4. so a large range.

it actually is finished now, I only have one anime con in my area but hope to bring it along sometime. The first place it is going is actually to school (i swear it doesn't look like a weapon). Most of my friends have been hearing about it for the last month and have never seen or imagine it. So now I can please all my anime ang gaming friends.

Haha, coolie. >_< Last year at AX(Anaheim, Ca.), there was a group of people from KH... It was like EVERYONE. And they all had keyblades, too. Except for the little Shadow, that is... It was pretty cool, especially since a few invented them themselves. I'll have to go look in your gallery for a more recent pic then~

Ohhh, that is awsome. I was a shadow at NDD but by the end I had the coat and the oblivion and oathkeeper keyblades. A shadow should never get ahold of them. It would make the game soo much more interesting.

unfortunatly NDK is the only one in my state, and the next closest is in Utah. If only i lived in California or closer to water.
Though next year I plan to go out of state for college so I will go to many more. What about you?

All I go to is AX in Anaheim(nextdoor to Disneyland), but there are a few others I've heard of. >_< It really is nice. I've heard of people who would make that trip out of state just for the conventions. x-x'' It's pretty corwded and disorganized, though. A bit pricey too...

Hmm... *Counts on fingers* Three. o-o And pretty much all I've done so far was walk around. It's impossible to do everything you want with all the stuff going on. >_< But it gets me a little frustrated because of that. Which convention are you going to try attending? Branching off is fun. Plus better under art then randomness front. plan to go to NDK, maybe AX if I can do it over summer and convince paying for it, and at least one con where ever I go, New York, or Chicago...either way I will try and find cons.

stands for Nan Desu Kan and it is in Denver in October.....so 2006 just finished. And yes New York is expensive.
