"One more day of journey across the calm and boring Pacific.
I was on the deck, taking notes and drawing of the sea birds when something took my attention:
Not too far away from the ship, resting over an atoll, there was a huge and odd creature. It was as long as a blue whale, dark grey and orange. It looked careless to the ship, and then lazily, sank into the emeral waters, for never coming up again, swimming quietly in the quiet and warm Pacific.
I was alone at the deck. I made a drawing of the new discovered creature, but never showed it to the rest of the crew. They would'n had believed me anyway..."

At last, I've finished this pic. It took me so long... but I'm satisfied with the result:

- The dragon has lazy colouring, but I think it turned out to be cool ^_^
- It's the first time I've tried to make real clouds. I've used a photoshop tutorial to learn, and I think the look pretty enought to be the first time *_*
- I don't know how to make good water effects. Sea is very difficult to paint. I did'n find any tutorial about this. I've done what I could, but it is not very good anyway, sorry v_v
- The sand is enought like this, OMG, at that point I was really tired! +_+
- I like concepts around, but thery're not placed the way I was thinking originally.

Special thanks to my boyfriend, who encouraged me to finish the pic and gave me some ideas. Thanks to my friend neight too, because he found for me the clouds tutorial.
