I hope so too. I'm enrolled in the IB program so it's giving me a slight taste of what college is going to be like, but I'm stressed. x-x

If anything it'll make the people you have classes with a little more bearable.  I hated some of the idiots I got stuck with in my non-AP classes, but I couldn't handle more than two my senior year because I was really involved in marching band.  English was always a lot of fun though. 

For whatever reason at my college the biggest problems seem to be math professors who cannot teach and science & math professors with accents so heavy they're nearly impossible to understand.  So far I'd rather have the math profs with accents though because they seem to have a better idea of what they're doing.

Sorry for the extremely late reply! 
I took two AP classes last year and life was terrible on my end, especially towards the end of the year. Thankfully I passed both of those exams and now I'm in full time IB with AP US History.
My freshman year I had a math teacher with an extremely thick spanish accent. Could not decipher what she was saying and somehow managed to pass the class with an 80%... ;-;
Personally I prefer the teachers with no accent over the ones with accents any day of the week (unless it's foreign language, then I don't care as much)
