umm I'm not sure XD I'm not all that great at giving advice. I just sorta do stuff and hope it looks good. I guess if I had to give advice, it would be to just like study to the screenshot and try to observe how it's put together. Especially the lighting. Lighting can be tricky, but if it's right, the character you put in there will look right at home in the screenshot. And also try to make sure the colors you use aren't to light or saturated. I've noticed that in a lot of the screenshots, the colors are darker and more on the desaturated side. Trial and error tends to work for me lol
I do mine on Paint Tool SAI, but it could still be done on Photoshop ^_^
