The unicorns got upset that I called Edward a unicorn. This was how they reacted. Edward's blood is yellow and sparkly for a reason, too, I'm not just being a stupid hater (no offense to anyone...). It makes sense if you think about it.
If human blood is red and turns a "vampire's" eyes red, and animal blood turns his eyes gold, then the logical train of thought is that animal blood is gold. And since a "vampire's" blood is his victim's blood, his blood would be yellow too. And it's sparkly because I'm making fun of Twilight.
And since he's not a unicorn, perhaps he is a chupacabras? ...I think we're getting closer to the truth. Still... I'm brainstorming for what he is. XD

I never said you needed to. In fact, you get an exemption since you probably didn't even know there would be a new TV show coming up. If I told you about the Bronies back then, you'd probably pat me on the back and then have me committed.

Alas, you have made the assumption that I like looking at My Little Ponies. In fact I detest it. I think the show is dumb, honestly, and I have never liked MLP. You can enjoy it though, whatever man.
I get an... exemption though? That makes it sound like if I made this comic later, when MLP gen 5 was out and popular, it'd be a sin or something not to make it a colorful cartoon horse? you choose your words strangely, sir.
