... Sometimes, ideas just pop in my head. And I can only hope people find them as funny as I do! I'm not really sure where this came from. I was already drawing Derpy Hooves and then was compelled to write "Derp Up!" above her head.I don't know about anybody else, but I find that drawing the ponies is surprisingly hard! Mostly because they're already so stylized, so it's difficult for me to break them and not just draw carbon copies. But, I think with a little more practice I just might get it! This must have at least been like... my tenth attempt at Derpy.
Hopefully, I'll be selling this as a print at upcoming conventions! (Print version wouldn't have the watermark, of course).

Blarg.. I always forget to check DA notes/replies/etc.. wish their system was better. Β Anyway, LED's are pretty low power and heat. Β Fire shouldn't be an issue unless there was an electrical short, and that's bad anyway. hah Β Paper burns at over 400F so not so much an issue.
