Thank you. I alway's try to show the female form in a positive way. I think that the female is the true hope of humankind.

Funny that I should run into this. I just finished up the second book in the Dune series. I dunno if you are familiar. If you aren't, check out Dune by Frank Herbert. If you are, I'm sure you understand why I mention it.

I noticed on your front page that you are reading Confessor. Awesome stuff! The Sword of Truth series is pretty awesome. Anyway, chit chat aside, I really like this piece. You make a water woman look pretty hot!
I also like the detail of the piece. Especially the shadow cast by her body onto the dune (though it would be an equally interesting artistic statement to have not had a shadow at all).
Good work!

Thank you, yes the sword of truth series is awesome! Wizards first rule FTW!

I put in the shadow to show that she is really substantially there, I added the refracted light into the shadow to show the sunlight entering her and being refracted onto the sand. In other words, I wanted her to be more than just a "ghost" image, I wanted the viewer to have the sense of this crystaline figure filled with hopes and dreams of the return of a living planet. She is somewhat of a "time capsule"

Thank you for looking, and for your comments!

Wizards's First Rules is awesome. I also like Faith of The Fallen a lot. The Chainfire trilogy (Chainfire, Phantom, Confessor) really take the series out on a fantastic high note. After WFR I think Goodkind kind of lost the ability to capture that sense of pressure and urgency that the first book utilized so well. I also think that Jagang is an interesting bad guy, but I think Darken Rahl was way cooler (especially with his band of Mord Sith). I think that the Chainfire trilogy returning to the series' roots was a brilliant move and it really allowed Goodkind to capture what he never quite managed to replicate from the first book (that sense of the world's existence being completely threatened). Anyway, I found your site thanks to [link] . Isaiah featured you and recommended your work. He has a good eye for talent.
