Seymour's soul was sent to the Farplane by Yuna, there he is reunited with his Mother, the Fayth Anima, who was possibly the only person who ever loved him.

In life they were both bound in chains.

Seymour was bound with his obsession of Sin and power, his mother was bound in her own pain.

Together once again on the Farplane, their souls have been freed and their chains cast off.

EDIT: I touched up the picture and removed the text, on second thought the text looked kinda cheesy.

Seymour has an incredibly sad story, and even though he had sewn the seeds of hatred I can't help but feel an overwhelming amount of pity for him. He had such potential in life, and it was wasted on a wrong choice. Seymour did have good intentions despite how dark he was...I believe he would seek absolution for his deeds on the farplane.
