Before I started my Curses Vector project, I attempted a DF tileset in a higher-res style. This one has 24x24 tiles and uses an 8-bit 3-3-2 RGB palette for a total of 256 colors.

I really, really love how these tiles came out but it quickly became evident how much work it would've been to make an entire tileset like this. There are thousands of tiles that go into a DF tileset and in the end I opted to make something simpler that I'd be more likely to finish.
