August 2016An experiment I did last year with some Dwarf Fortress tiles. I wanted to make some 32x64 graphics that "pop out" from the grid like those in Crypt of the Necrodancer. I started out with the basic races and professions, but quickly realized this is a lot of work for hundreds of sprites. I scrapped the idea.
The palette here is the 256-color Windows palette so technically you could run the game in that mode. Would it make Dwarf Fortress any faster? Maybe. The professions here are standard, miner, woodworker, stoneworker and fishery worker. Only the first two were finished for each race.

Sorry for the late reply. Normally I'd be okay with people using my assets but I'm going to have to decline. There are so few here that I imagine they'd clash pretty badly with other graphics.

Very nice high contrast sprites. I like that your goblin looks like a rocker
