ASEprite, 49-ish colors (but who's keeping count?)So, the other day I had my interest in the Earthbound series suddenly rekindled. I'm not entirely sure how, but it must have been because of my romps across the forums of Starmen.net. And I have to say, the community surrounding this series is quite the tight-knit one! Even though the series is only 3 games long, there exists an endless amount of fanart, fanmusic and even amazing fangames like UnEarthed! ! And that brings me to this piece we have here.

The amount of fan-made battle sprites throughout the Earthbound community is sparse at best, so I thought I'd go ahead and whip up a few sprites to see if any ROM hackers would be able to make any usage of them. These don't strictly follow Earthbound's palette system for artistic reasons, but a few do and it certainly wouldn't be hard to convert the rest. I originally planned to start off with 8 sprites, but I had a bit of trouble executing my 8th idea so I rounded down the sprites to six. If anyone makes any use of these, go ahead and tell me! I might make some more.
