Description
I think I will try to simply make the pencil art as clean as possible from now on instead of doing that and then inking it. I will have to see if I like this or not. I do like the inking because it makes it look very clean, but it takes a considerably longer time to get pages done. I would like to progress more in the story and I feel this will be a good way to do so. Hopefully that's okay with you guys, but I think ultimately I will battling with myself over this XDnext: www.deviantart.com/dragondoggo…

PEANUT!
Guess Theo was bonding with the furry creature he's never seen before.
Yeah, inking something I'm trying to get better at, and make more of a habit, but getting my lines clean has been...a challenge x_x;

I love how you get excited whenever you see Peanut XD
Yeah, getting your lines clean is super hard! With digital, what I've found helps sometimes is zooming in really close when you're going over your sketch

Who doesn't love Peanutdoggobestboi?
I know that Sai and Photoshop also offer smoothing algorithms that can be pretty hit or miss. I've been happy to discover that a lot of my favorite artists, when I zoom in really close to their lines, they also don't have them perfectly clean either, so it tells me that I'm not the only one that has to keep practicing on it But these days I've been trying to train myself to sketch digital first, then line it in the program and color/shade all in one processes rather than just stopping at one step or diving into finalization too fast. I wish was better at keeping up with these things considering my degree in graphic arts and design, but... I really haven't pursued that as a career, more as a hobby.
