Been meaning to finish this since NaNoWriMo! Had all the pieces sketched out, just hadn't got it all together until recently due to my new job wiping me out. Figured I ought to finish it this week since Tuesday was the 10th anniversary of when I started the comic and Wednesday was the "official" anniversary of The Wand and The Sword (exact time I didn't write down, but it's at least 15 years or more ) So yay?


This is the cover for the first part of The Wand and The Sword, subtitled "A Girl and Her Horse" I think most of you can recognize who is on there but if you're curious please ask I will say that the blond fellow with the sword is going to be my next enrollee for


Tried a few new things, not sure if I was totally successful but I thought I'd attempt it

The gloriousness that is Iolanthe's hair makes a wonderful comeback. I just love the amount of detail you've put into it!

Ooh, this is super awesome! I love the composition here and the details on Iolanthe's hair, and how we view her from the back, giving her an air of mystery! The blue glow outline is also a nice touch btw! Awesome job!

Sort of, but also to show that she's the mysterious goal they need to get to near the end of the story. None of them know much about her other than what Tiernan has told them (which isn't much at all). I was trying to make her hair resemble a twisting road
