Here is what I've been working on for my Fan Art Friday picture.

I am no good at cars . . . and yet here I am attempting to draw a car I'll see if I can manage to get it looking a bit better and ink it as well.

If any of you don't recognize this little Love Bug I won't hold it against you but I would suggest you look up the movies - The Love Bug, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Herbie Rides Again, and Herbie Goes Bananas. Glorious 70's ridiculousness and hilarity (although, admittedly, The Love Bug was made in 1968 and Herbie Goes Bananas was 1980). My all time fave is Herbie Rides Again (1974), you can't go wrong with a pack of VW's chasing the bad guy I must have pestered my parents for months after seeing that movie for them to get a VW Bug I LOVE HERBIE!

Avoid the newest one, Herbie: Fully Loaded. Dreadful to the extreme. The 1997 Herbie movie is . . .ehhh . . . but it has Bruce Campbell so it's at least more watchable than the Lindsey Lohan one. Thank you Disney for badly rebooting something I loved from my childhood. Again. Which is why I'm not holding my breath for the new Pete's Dragon movie. There's a trend for Disney to ruin my childhood repeatedly.
