Description This rose made me stop and cross the street . . . it was so striking. I'm STILL amazed at the color. I guess there's a reason why Portland is called "Rose City"

And yes . . . this was on a bush in someone's FRONT YARD!

i DID know you could get two toned roses...but, not a half and half like that

my husband when we were first dating bought me a white rose tinged on all petal edges with pink - the flower wenches at faire said that meant "tainted innocence". he said he just thought it was pretty and i'd like that more then some of the others.

There were some I saw and tried to get pictures of that were three toned crazy striped . . . but I couldn't get a decent picture

That's what I thought There's an amazing variety here . . . I saw some others that had even more colors on them, but they didn't photograph as well
