This was a wonderful find over in Snoqualmie, Wa. For those that go thru the mountain pass there near Seattle most don't go to the town itself. Well you should. There's a train yard there full of these amazing abandoned steam locomotives that are both sad and beautifulThe bad news, there's a high fence around them so taking good photos is difficult at best.
I'm not very happy with this shot but considering the fence its the best I could do. A wide angle lens here would have been needed for it to truly work. What I DO like about it is the color and the mood, which is the only reason I've actually chosen to submit it

Wow! That's incredible!! The color on the train is just eye-dazzling! I love the angle too. That's too bad about the fence though! How annoying that it had to be in the way, but I think this turned out really well!

Yea there was really no other way to take a good pic of it.. and besides the fence there was a box car connected to the front of it so any other shot just wouldnt have worked without a difference lens

The color is BEAUTIFUL!!! You did amazing with what you had and the result is a emotional photo. It makes you feel sad and haunted, which is great. Super work!!
