My two favourite gay lion lovers, Kufuru and Shupavu.
Life has been very difficult for these girls, their story isn't exactly a happy one either.

The song above is actually about suicide, so... spoilers
however I wont say who dies, because tbh even I don't know,

but for now... Let's let them have this bittersweet moment.
Kufuru fell in love with Shupavu the moment she saw her visit her pride.
Shupa came from an old enemy pride, the leader bore no sons to secure the throne,
So she, the strongest and most powerful illegitimate daughter he had, was sent to the neighbouring pride as a gift to form an allegiance.
Shupa was to marry the future King of Kufu's pride.
of course things do not always go to plan
