K guysYou know the drill...
Enjoy, but if you use it CREDIT me PLEASE!
Some of the changes are quite subtle... so I thought I would do steps for you, arnt I nice
1 Obviously, a lineart. Time to colour it!
2 What you're doing is outlining locks of hair in the main colour of the animal, in this case, a red fox, so the main colour is red. Only outline fur where it would be long.
3 Shade the locks of hair using that main colour. Make sure you use long flowy lines
4 Colour the non-long fur. This is simple. Use short lines. Also darken up the bit which are supposed to be black (in this case, the ear tips and muzzle markings)
5 Out line the eyes. Also, you cant see it very well, but I have also coloured the white. Trust me, this is important. Dont skimp out on the white fur. Do it the same way as the red, but with a nice creamy yellow
6 Shade the fur. Using a darker colour then your main one, shade the locks of hair, I used a coppery colour.
7 Tone the fur. Using a lighter, richer colour then your main colour, tone the locks of hair, focus on the whiter areasof the red fur, also add SOME to the white fur. I used a light orange
8 YAY, the fur is done, looks good, no? Moving swiftly onwards, EYES! Im going to have nice brown eyes, so start with a browny-yellowy-orangy colour. Color the whole eye, excuding the whites and highlights.
