I drew this on some pretty big paper so I was able to add more detail.
During the Oligocene era marine dragons made a second attept to conquer land thus being the first of the asian dragons or lungs. Because primitive species were small they needed body armor. This armor was thick but light enough for it to move comfortably. Its' niche is very similar to a crocodile's. It will wait in the water like crocodiles but unlike a crocodile it has a lure. Its fleshy whiskers that it uses on land to detect prey is now a lure for small predators that think they have found a water snake or a worm. After several thousand years, the asian lungs will lose their armor because the megafauna has vanished and the dragon will have gotten bigger.
