yet another andition to my army of irken OCs. Meet Manic the Pyro. Better known as Manic or Pyromaniac (since his name is one letter short of "maniac." I thought up of this character actually when I drew Adner, my initial oc with very much the exact type of equipment that manic carries here. The background was a failed fire attempt, but I managed to work around it and make it look like some firey starbursty-looking thing. Yes those letters are crumbling to ash, I was actually fooling around to try to get that affect and I'm satisfied on how that resulted.

Be prepared for a long Bio, I've actually developed this guy quite a bit within initially creating him.

Manic was born and lived a typical life like any other irken, much like that of Jett. He has a good average intelligence and knows a lot about one thing... fire, and every little smidge of information about it. How it combusts, what the hotest, and most dangerous flames are, you name it. He had one weakness though. He was too obsessed in fire.

There was one day where manic attended a session where he was to work with chemicals and what not in a trainee type of lab with other smeets his age. Unfortunately he was misinformed about the date and ended up in this "lab" by himself, loaded with chemicals of all sorts.... including flammables.

Having such a "fiery passion" Manic decided to fool around and experiment with all sorts of things, starting with the smallest candle-size flame, he worked up to very intense oxidising flame. Before he began fooling with that sort of flame he saw a stunning pair of goggles that he found very attractive looking on him, so he acquired them and then, being the naive and impulsive guy that he was, he became foolhearty enough that he ignighted the very same oxygen tank he was using causing the tank to explode, Though irkens are fairly fireproof (as seen on the episode "Battle of the planets" from invader zim) The explosion was in such close proximity to Manic and was so intense that it managed to painfully singe his antennae and blew off the labcoat type of uniform he was wearing, as well as scalding him a good amount on his chest.

Nearby irken authorities were alerted by the explosion and took the necessary emergency proceedures. They quickly doused the flames and investigated the area to see if anyone was harmed and to find the reason for the explosion, they found no one.

Manic knew that trouble was coming if he were to stay so he made a hasty retreat for somewhere that nobody would expect to look, under a bridge. Cringing from the wounds Manic studied himself vicariously and then loosened his tense body to relax, never removing his goggles. When he awoke he reflected upon his actions and learned that fire was a force not to be reckoned with. Along with his lesson, Manic's fiery passion grew more intense, and so his knowledge of fire grew.

Manic now pursues his own needs and deeds looking for anything to upgrade his flamethrower Sasha and perhaps add some more weapons to his arsenal Manic, because of his fiery and impulsive persona, has the tendency to overreact to situations and easily get mad. He also underthinks situations and that gets him into a lot of deep trouble sometimes, though most of the time he just solves that with more powerful "firepower." It has saved him a few times, but it may one day that he is overcome and would become completely helpless to impending doom unless his ways are changed.

He has had no run-ins with Adner or Jett, and has no tendencies of bonding with other irkens, becuase he fears that they would want to know the color of his eyes. (Manic has no justifyable reason for this reasoning, he just believes anyone who wants to know is just plain nosy) Though this contradicts his original reason for wearing the goggles, he just feels secure and confident wearing them. Manic, unlike my other ocs, has had no situations regarding insanity directly or indirectly. He is perfectly sane, he just has a fire fetish.

Manic is also about 4' 5" in height so he's a bit smaller compared to my other two ocs. He also is about 13 in irken years(also a partial explanation to his impulsive and recklessness).
