Contest Description: "The contest is to show someone in a futuristic or post-apocalyptic setting, similar to those found in Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, various Final Fantasy games, Pern, Fifth Element, Star Trek, Star Wars, Scion, Meridian, Samurai Jack, or .hack. It doesn't have to be like those, they're just examples. ^__~"

I've always been looking for contests that swing my way. Contests where I might actually be able to squeeze an entry in without the work being painful. The moment I saw "post-apocalyptic" in Arwen's contest description, I knew I was going to enter. Honestly? I could give crap about the prize, not that a manga series isn't nice or anything, but i've wanted to do this drawing for a long time. Arwen's contest was just the first thing to actually motivate me into doing it.

And from here, I present to you, the longer half of my description.
THE Q AND A OF JULIET'S LATEST DRAWING

Q; wtf does wraeththu mean?
A; Wraeththu is a species of hermaphrodite creatures created by Storm Constantine in her series titled "Wraeththu." What can I say, folks? The woman is a genius.
Q; How does this fit into arwen's contest?
A; Wraeththu developed into a more advanced species than humans, made from humans. Throughout the book series, the human race actually fades off into extinction. The series is therefore sci-fi yadayadayada
Q; Who are the people in the picture?
A; No one in particular. Normally I'd want to draw Cal, cause he's the best character in the whole book. But I can't possibly draw him as how I picture him in my imagination due to Constantine's writing. So I don't. These are just two random Wraeththu.
Q; Why they aint got no nurples?
A; Wraeththu reproduce differently. As far as I can remember, they don't need/have 'em.
Q; S'that a man or a woman?
A; Both.
Q; Is that dude's hair moving?
A; Yeeeup. A talent of one of the wraeththu tribes. Would look up the name, but I'm too lazy. I know a certain main character has moving hair, though.
Q; Why'd you do this kinda drawing if most of the other entries are going to be anime/manga type stuff?
A; Because this is how I draw, and, as stated by arwen, it can look however the hell you want it to.
Q; You read weird books.
A; Yes. But that wasn't a question.

lastly, it's a little blurry and screwed up, because it's, yet again, a crappy photograph. T___T It's too big to scan, but not big enough to get enough detail in a photo. Which sucks.
