Description
A simple eye study I did. The first row is fire dragons, the second is water and ice, and the third is earth.I enjoyed this, I may do it again some day.
~~~~~
If you look at this for reference or even use an eye for your dragon, I'm completely fine with that. You don't have to tell me you used it or ask for permission.
So helpful! I love this, often I have trouble making my newer dragons look original because I keep sticking to the same eye shapes and it gets boring haha. These are excellent (:
I'm currently working on creating a dragon myself ... this will come in handy ... though I wish you had put some scaling around the eyes a bit, because I think the scales close to the eye are an important part of defining the dragons overall personality.
Those are some awesome concepts for eyes, the eye far left in the top corner looks determined and sharp. The yellow eye next to it looks curious. The last red eye looks ferocious. In the second row, the first eye looks submissive, yet it has a burning desire to take action. The eye next to it looks complex, as if the dragon had a lot of unknown power. The last eye in the second row looks keen, it is carefully watching someone. The first eye in the last row looks mysterious, it is a dragon that is not part of this world. The eye next to it looks somewhat friendly, it seems curious. The last eye looks determinate as well, it seems as if it has been hurt but has to hold back. I love how each set of eyes has its own kind of impression on a dragon, it brings out a dragon's true nature.
Welcome.
I like how you made them, the middle one reminded me of my one OC who's eyes are like that.
