This is my entry for 's contest: the-buffer-army.deviantart.comβ¦
I'm going to admit I was suffering from artblock for a while trying to figure out what to draw, but this is what I came up with. The theme for the contest was "What happens next now that Knock Out claimed to join the Autobots" and my thoughts were that Knock Out was given an area on the ship where he was allowed to work, but he generally keeps to himself. Here, Arcee decided to see what he's been up to (It was going to be Ratchet, but Arcee is easier to draw. And I wasn't using references when I drew this, so I ended up sticking with characters I can draw by memory).Β
I'm kind of doubting I'll win the contest, but I'm just hoping I was able to portray what I described above right now.
Also, I need to think of a better title.

Not too shabby, I must admit. (: You can definitely tell who the characters are supposed to represent and Arcee looks so feminine and pretty in this pic. KO's shoulders look a little stiff, that may be the position however.
Nice work adding some medical tools, and I believe but cannot guarantee that is SynthEn that he's studying once more, is it? Considering making some new uses of an old material are ya doc. (;
Great complexion on the characters. The background is a little plain in retrospect to the foreground bit it's not too bad. It gives me giggles to see what I believe to be a buffer sitting on the counter; makes you wonder what else he has been up to other than experimenting and working for the 'Bots!

I was going for stiffness with Knock Out's pose in an attempt to make him look awkward and like he's still adjusting to his new life. Or that he just wasn't expecting to see Arcee visiting him.
Yep, that's supposed to be SynthEn he's studying. And I couldn't resist adding the buffer. This is Knock Out after all and he's too vain to not have one lying around

Me: You might want to run. It will take a while for Arcee to get Knockout to calm down

Arcee: We better stop him.
Me: Agreed
*Arcee and I chase you and Knockout through the portal*

Aha! You fell for my trap! Behold, my greatest invention!
I call it, the fuzz o matic 9000-x supreme! It uses quantam tunneling to reverse engineer the nano particles inside the atmoic sturcture and convert them via gyroclip malfuncitoning through a space - vector intergration and thereby fauxing it to it's native opositional state! behold as the steel - metallic alloy turns into....!
*zaps knockout with the fuzz o matic*

Aha! and now you get to see my second invention. I call it...well, technicly someone else invented it, so they call it....THE WORLD ENLARGENER! it enlarges the entire workd, except for whom is hit by it! Observe!Β
*zaps knockout with the world enlargener and he becomes tiny*

Knockout: I'll get you for thisβ¦once I find a way to reverse whatever you have done to me *transforms and drives off*
Arcee: I'm not sure if enlarging the world was your best ideaβ¦And how did you pull that off anyways? Human technology is not that advanced
Me: *watches Knockout drive away, disappointed* Why did he have to leave? He was so fuzzy?

Me: I know Knockout wants you to make him normal again. But I also know you were about to say disguise. You're hiding something, so tell me what it is!
