Here's an awesome pic that my friend did a while back showing one of my favorite childhood heroes of all time in animation. It is none other than the Autobot leader himself Optimus Prime(Convoy from Japan) from the Transformers Generation 1 series. Thanks, man. ^^ Optimus Prime did make an appearance in the Beast Wars when Megatron(Beast Wars version) plans to alter the future by killing Prime in the past so that the Autobots would not only lose the war in the future, but their descendants the Maximals would not exist leaving the Decepticons and Predacons as rulers of Cybertron. It was a grim view there. But thanks to Silverbolt and Black Arachnia, they were able to prevent that and forced Megatron out of the Ark. Have you ever seen the original G1 series from the 80s?

I know such memories of my childhood, and for the G1 no I haven't seen it, I have some friends that are really fans of the franchise I think I like the transformers but not at the level to know every character or see the whole thing. yet still optimus rulez.

Besides, I have a good collection of toys from the Generation 1 series. As for the shows itself here's what I own on DVD so far:
-Transformers G1 1980s: Season 1-4
-Beast Wars: Season 1-3
-Beast Machines: Season 1 and 2
-Transformers Cybertron: Complete series
-Transformers Animated: Season 1 and 2(Season 3 never came out on DVD officially unfortunately)
-Transformers Prime: Season 1
-Transformers the Movie(1986 animated film)
