So? It's temporary, as was her fling with Geoffry St. John & Sonic's relations with many ladies. In the comics, SonSal IS the pairing of choice in the end. Scratch that, beyond our dubbing of Sonic X--and the respective comic for it--in the West, SonSal IS the canon coupling. The Japanese can have SonAmy for all I care, because in Japan, an older man getting with a young girl is accepted, whereas it is tabboo in the West.
