Description =====Evolution Chart=====
 ►► LVL 14 ►►   ►► LVL 25 ►►

Origin of Name: Cinder+Larva= Cindarva.
Based on: A fire ant and a bombardment beetle.

=============================

EDIT(05/20/14): Swapped abilities.
EDIT(01/30/14): New display template and design!
Looooooong overdue design overhaul. Removed/edited some parts, changed the shiny, etc etc.

--

Let us start off the countdown to the new legendaries with some new Fakemon! Well, sorta new. XD

Cindarva got a massive overhaul in its appearance since its last debut, its head recieving the main part of this change. I gave its body a more upright posture, and along with that, I gave its bulbs the orange outline used for Fire-Type Pokemon.

As you can see, Cindarva did actually have a mouth. It only is shown in a similar fashion to Giratina's Origin Form, sliding the two mandibles apart to
reveal it.

And a minor detail; I think I've improved the shading style I'm using for my Fakes, using a more pulled back blur than what I've used earlier in this one.

Aw, cute. Though I do have a few questions. If orange colored leaves give them the body color, what about the shiny? And what about during the rest of the year. Do they only eat in autumn?

If a lot of these are all over me (like a leaf pile), I'll shriek in both awestruck and fear. I mean THEY'RE CUTE YET DANGEROUS!

Not too good, but not too bad either. hey, at least its BST is higher than all early worms except for Gen 5 ones.

Looks like a nemesis of Durant(Is that it? The metal ant?) >

Not really nemeses moreso related by being both ants. Though, Durant still wouldn't want to tangle with this thing. xD

What does a shiny one eat? Snow? Not to mention if it gets lost and lights its butt up, will the others respond?

Dragonith In reply to LegendLord [2014-02-01 07:56:23 +0000 UTC]

Well... the shiny would be a bit of an exception in this case. Despite it being a different color, the colony should still respond to it in return.

Interesting.. Even so, I still want one. I've always had the slight fascination for shiny Fire types that look almost Ice or Water type.

I have been getting your pictures as they are uploaded, but this one is confusing me. The title says it is "023" but the picture of the Pokemon, Cindarva, says it is "020" which one is it, and could you possibly change whatever one was wrong so I know what to put it as?

Dragonith In reply to sosnh [2014-01-31 04:28:29 +0000 UTC]

Fixed. 023 was the old number.

DragonDePlatino [2011-09-26 22:40:50 +0000 UTC]

Pretty top notch Fakemon! I'd picture this Fakemon living on the roofs of caves in volcanos. Also, it looks like it's typing would make it quite the formidable opponent! I really dig how this Fakemon has quite the abstract face, and yet still retains its Fakemon cuteness. I would most certainly catch one of these if it were in a Pokemon game. Oh, and may I suggest you base it's evolution off of one of my favorite insects? The honey pot ant! [link]

Dragonith In reply to DragonDePlatino [2011-09-26 22:49:50 +0000 UTC]

In actuality, they live in warm forests (jungles). But I think you'd be able to find them there. XD

As for the honey pot ant, I can't believe I didn't notice those species before. They got big abdomens, perfect for this evo line. XD

Unfortunately, I already got the evos sketched up. Sorry.
