EDIT(05/12/17): New name! New design! New moves! New ability! Whoa!
Here's a design I've been meaning to change for awhile! The ninja based on the three-legged crow returns!

I felt like Garashen sounded more in line with Yatagarasu, so that was a small name change. Design-wise I felt its old design was a bit too angular, if that makes sense. As such, I made the design more rounded out. Its two hands are now better equipped for dexterity while its single foot remains more bird-like. Added a little red to reference how Yatagarasu was depicted as red usually instead of black. The shiny form references this fact even more so.

Lastly, new moves and an ability! Garashen's unique ability Ninja Art allows it to power up its throwing stars for more lethal damage. Combined with their increased priority and its high speed, this is one tough ninja to fight against! Prepare yourself!

Felt this new name rolls off the tongue more easily than Shengaru. That, and it sounds more like a Pokemon too.

As the winner of the poll is unanimous, here comes some long awaited Fakedex updates. Coincidentally, posted exactly one year after its pre-evolution was posted! Here's Shengaru, the Ninja Pokemon!

Shengaru's design was thought up at the same time as Yanobi's. However, I had some difficulties getting it just right, as noted by the long time gap. As shown, its appearance is more ninja-like in comparison to its previous stage. I took some inspiration from ninjas in pop culture, notably the Foot Clan from the TMNT franchise. The Hayabusa armor from Halo 3 vaguely helped me with the 'head band' shielding Shengaru's eyes.

While this guy ain't no Ninjask, it can certainly cover some ground. After an Unburden boost, this already great speed is doubled, sure to zip past most speedy contenders in the metagame. True to its ninja nature, Shengaru can learn Double Team and Agility through level up, further increasing its blistering speed/evasion. On the offensive, Shengaru's no push over. Take the plethora of Dark and Flying-type moves from Yanobi and you'll get a good idea just how deadly Shengaru can get. Watch the shadows!
