=============================
EDIT(11/17/16): New artwork + small edits, new HA, new height/weight, and new BST!
This update's more or less just an art update for my favorite redwood sauropod here. Everything remains mostly the same from a design standpoint, though the legs have gone under their third reiteration. Now they're more bulkier to support this massive tree trunk! The bottom leaves covering Sequodon's neck are now a full ring rather than separate. Very small change, but it looks better I feel.
Now from a technical perspective, I've upscaled Sequodon's size by double it's original size! I can't have Alolan Exeggutor claim the tallest Grass-type spot, no sir! Now Sequodon's in the leagues of Wailord! In addition to this, I've added a new hidden ability to replace Oblivious, as I feel if it's not easily accessed, it should be good to boot! Colossus is an ability I've used for some past Pokemon/Mega/FUSEmon concepts with the default effect being it reduced damage from smaller Pokemon. The ability still functions the same way, but I've made a small adjustment to make it more balanced. The bigger you are, the harder Sequodon will fall! Otherwise, Sequodon's gonna be staying around in the long run! Considering Grass isn't the best defensively, this ability guarantees a good trade off as a tank compared to other options. With this adjustment, I've swapped Sequodon's BST with Dr-Goom 's alternative offering, as I admit I didn't do a good job picking the initial min/max'd stats he provided. My apologies for that!
That's all for now folks!

Old Artist's Notes:
EDIT(09/22/15): Added BST provided by !
EDIT(03/20/13): New display template, number, and design!
A previously unnumbered Fakemon has now officially joined the Fakedex! More unknown numbered Fakemon to join Sequodon in the upcoming days! About the changes, I added a small tail and tweaked the legs a bit. The stubby legs were really starting to bug me, so I made them more 'bulkier'. The shading was also tweaked a little to make the colors stand out more.

I just love how this turned out. You can call this goliath a close relative of Tropius.
Sequodon is another spontaneous idea I thought up, based on my state's giant trees. Like its real-life dinosaur counterpart, its nostrils are located above its head in small slits. I'd imagine these guys to be rare sights in select forests around Excelo. Imagine the shock you'd get if ya encountered one in that tiny little patch of grass. XD
Unlike Tropius, Sequodon takes a role much akin to Wailord's. Massive HP, decent offense and defense, and a low speed. To fully use Sequodon competitively, one must bring out the sun to power it up. Leaf Storm, Wood Hammer, Seed Bomb, and Growth, among other Grass-type attacks are in its movepool. It also learns some non-Grass-type attacks in Earthquake, Heavy Slam, Ancient Power, and Stomp. Synthesis, Rest, and Ingrain are also recovery moves that are learned through level-up.

Interesting I like the thought of a brachiosaurus' neck looking like a tree. XD an ancient pokemon that act in herds as a moving forest XD.

I could totally see this in a branch evolution thing with tropius. A seedling would be their pre-evo. I don't know what conditions it would take for it to evolve into one of them, just that that would be cool!

This is really great. I haven't seen many pinetree pokemon, and this one is very creative. Sequodon's got a manly stache going on.

I'd shoot for 200 years to make it seem more impressive since they had a like 50year old pikachu on the anime "had a tuft of fur on its forhead"
But very nice first Pine tree fake I ever saw "not including Snover"
