The final fossil pokemon from my region! Titanegg, the Aerodactyl of my region!

I thought of a concept one day in class where a pokemon switches it's ATK with it's DEF every turn, vice versa. The Which came first? philosophy came to mind first. An egg and a chicken...

Originally, it was gonna be based on a lizard, but I changed that since I noticed I have a lot of reptiles in my region.
Then came the chicken idea, but I thought that was too obvious.
Finally, I decided to make it based on the terror birds, predatory flightless birds that were the apex predators of their time (along with the sabertooth cats). Plus, since it scares foes by popping out of it's shell, it adds to the "terror".

Statwise, in this form, it's DEF is it's highest point, with ATK at the lowest. SP ATK and SP DEF are second lowest and SPD is average. It's ability, Egg Shift, makes good use of setting up a stat boost (Agility, Swords Dance, Iron Defense) or healing (Softboiled) to prep for when it changes forms to the offensive. The form it starts with at the beginning of a battle is determined randomly, just like the philosophy it's based on.

And if you noticed, it's egg is the same color as the pokemon egg sprite.^^

TITANEGG has caused scientists to wonder whether the pokemon or the egg came first when it was discovered. It's random transformations to it's offensive form is a popular topic amongst pokemon professors.

Origin of Name:Titanis+Egg= Titanegg.
Based on:Titanis walleri, a well known terror bird. Also based on the Which Came First? philosophy.
