here are my suggestions for typing's and I even included possible locations for each gym
Excavation = ground (Probably in a mine)
Roulette = physic (Probably in a casino)
Static = electric (Probably in a power station)
Eagle = flying (Probably on a mountain)
Greed = dark (Probably in a bank)
Mist = ghost (Probably in a graveyard)
Armada = steel (Probably on a navy boat)
Meteor = fire (Probably on a volcano)

Trivia
- Upon defeat, Sophia hands you the TM 100 (Sunder), as well as the Meteor Badge. Sunder is a Dragon-type, physical damaging move with 100 base damage, 100 base accuracy, and 5 PP. It has additional effects based on the Blade the user is holding. The Guardian Blade makes it restore health equal to 33% damage dealt. The Exemplar Blade raises its critical hit ratio by two stages and gives it a 20% chance to raise each of the user's stats by one stage. The Overlord Blade increases its base power to 130 but makes it deal 33% recoil damage.
- She is the sole human occupant of her gym, which is located at the peak of Mt. Drakeheart. She doesn't use Poke balls, so her Pokemon roam freely.
- Her gym rests atop the volcano outside of the nearby town.
- Her name, Sophia, means "wisdom" in Greek.

I like the design of the Mist Badge, I think it is very unique because it doesn't directly refer to ghosts

Excavation - Rock or Ground from the looks of it.
Roulette - Either Psychic/Dark because gambling. Rotation/triple battle because of that spinning thing in casinos.
Eagle - Normal/Flying Eagles are birds after all.
Armada - Steel because weaponry are made out of steel. Maybe Fire because of FLAMETHROWERS!
Meteor - Dragon types because of DRACO METEOR. Could be Fire because y'know,meteors catch on fire I believe

Greed Definitely Ghost, Dark, or Poison. Maybe connect the backstory of the gym leader of the Roulette gym to this one since they're both related to money?

Excavation Badge
Rock/Ground Type. Mainly Rock I'm guessing with the Gym Leader using fossil Pokemon (Rock-Types)
Roulette Badge
This one's a bit more tricky, but Roulette is usually are in casinos. So it could be Dark-Type because places like Vega tend to be places you can get away with doing many dark deeds without problem cause "Hey, its Vega", plus the badge itself has a like of black in it so... It could be, but not as likely, Electric-Type, Vega is a city with a lot of lights. And last, a third type, but least likely, Fairy-Type maybe. Cause Fairys are myths just as luck is, and you need a lot of luck in a Casino.

I'm going to guess this one is Electric-Type gym, but the badge does have a skull on it. Meaning there could be the super small chance that it is a maybe a poison. i doubt it, but hey.

This one is a bit tougher, but i'll guess its a... I don't know really. It could be any of Dark, Poison, or Psychic, with Psychic being my strongest guess.
Mist Badge
By the name alone I would guess Water, but based off the badge i would have to with the same as above with Dark, Poison, or Psychic. With i guess Poison being my strongest guess.
Armada Badge
Now the badge for this one is just badass, and a bit easier to guess. It's either a Water or Steel type gym, or even possible both.
Meteor Badge
And finally the last one, as before, the badge for this is also badass and a bit easier to guess. I'm going with mainly a Fire-Type gym, but maybe also a ground-type because magma is underground before it strays out as lava. The gym could also be again both types.
Well those are my guesses, I most likely got most, or if not, half of them wrong, but hey I tried. Hopefully Dragonith will reveal what they each are later.

Hey Drago, are you ever going to design routes/landscape/world concepts? Not necessarily pixel stuff but illustrations of select stuff like the gyms, special locations, etc. could be cool.

I have thought about doing those sometime, especially a region map. They just don't have as high as a priority as the other things (Fakemon, Trainers/Leaders, etc.) at the moment. Will hopefully get to doing some eventually. ^^
