It's been about two years now since I've completed my first Fakemon region, probably the most ambitious personal project I've undertaken during my time here on the site. It's one of my pet projects that's constantly evolved alongside me as I've improved as an artist, another notable example being FUSE Corp, my Pokemon fusions.

While it was easily my largest, it wasn't without its share of issues from time to time. I suffered quite a few art blocks along the way to completing this, as well as my interest waning as other things began to take my attention. This is reflected with my several long breaks between updates, among several revisits to previous designs. There's still some untouched areas from Excelo too that I've wanted to touch more on, like my unfinished Gym Leaders, an evil team, movesets, etc., but never got the chance or motivation, I suppose, to continue with it. Nevertheless, finally completing the dex in late 2017 was satisfying beyond my expectations.

With that, here's my some of my personal favorite designs I've concocted over the years:

I'll most likely return to Excelo again some time in the future, but for now I can say the curtain's coming to a close. I have a few more I wish to say, but I can't exactly find the words for them. So with that, I'll just simply say this: Thank you for the support throughout the years!
