One day, out on patrol, the Doc and R.O.B.O Cop discover a barrel with a questionable red marking on it.
R.O.B. scans it, and finds that it is filled with explosives...that were purchased by the infamous villain and mafia boss, King Dedede.
"Mama-mia! We have gotta-to find that evil penguin!"
"RESPONSE: AFFIRMATIVE"
In order to find out his location, they enlist the help of Private Detective Robin and his sidekick, the Crime Chimp Diddy.
Robin reports back to the Doc a few days later, with news that Little Mac, the boxing extraordinaire has been traced back to the mafia, allegedly taking steroids from their backdoor illegal pharmacies.
The duo heads to the private gym that Mac and Doc Louis rent out for training, only to discover that Doc Louis has been...murdered.
Somebody had poisoned his chocolate bar to prevent him from ratting out Dedede, but who?
