Description
With me being a reptile fan, here's a lizardman!
Silica's always seemingly on the run going somewhere, whether it's the beach or just going for a jog around the neighborhood. Staying actively fit is her highest priority, and it's only further enforced when competition is thrown into the mix. Silica isn't one to refuse a challenge (especially an athletic one). She's yet to have met anyone who's bested her in her element, and it's all thanks to her daily workout routine. 100 PUSH-UPS, 100 SIT-UPS, 100 SQUATS, AND 10 KM RUNNING EVERY SINGLE DA-whoops, wrong character.
* The 10 KM run is accurate, however. Silica loves to run.
Despite excelling at most athletics, Silica tends to be a bit of an airhead everywhere else. She often is unfazed by things that would normally embarrass a person, only realizing the error of her ways when pointed out by someone moments later. It'd take one heck of a shock for her to realize her mistakes right off the bat.
As an extra-species, Silica's selection is pretty limited regarding clothing made for her kind. It's this limitation that prevents her from wearing basic garments such as shoes, which she shows great disappointment about.

I always remember that about them because I saw this Discovery Channel marathon of the "most extreme" animals years ago and that really stuck out to me. The only other thing I remember though, is about a beetle that could run about 5 mph that, if it were the size of the average human, it would be able to run over 300 mph.

question! If you cut off her tail, will it Grow Back? Not that i would cut off such a Pretty Creatures Tail... I will Shut up... But still if her Tail is Cut Off, can she grow it Back?

Lizardmen/Lizardfolk can sever their tails like how some reptiles can should the situation call for it. While it can regenerate over time, it has serious drawbacks. The tail stores most of the body's nutrients so they risk dying from malnutrition unless properly provided. Additionally, in Silica's case her tail crest may be permanently damaged should she try it, even with regeneration. That's a disheartening mental image.
So... yeah, don't cut the tail pls.

IIRC, it's a term from the Everyday Life with Monster Girls/Monster Musume manga and anime, essentially referring to mythological entities (usually resembling a hybrid of human and animal).

Yeah, female basilisks lack the crest features, but she looked too simple with just a tail imo. That and I wanted her to have the crest, so I'm bending the rules a bit here lol.
