In Xenoblade: Chronicles, the game Shulk comes from, Ether is the essence of life. His weapon, the Monado, has the capability to bend ether to the user's will. So, yeah. Shulk can beat anybody any day if he wants to. He's also a complete mechanics dork.

fair enough, but such a tricky thing arises when you crossover anything, different universes different rules
the only thing that transcends such limitation are the divines themselves (gods essentially, though I do count angels as a divine race, pit isnt exactly an "angel" as more of a creature that was spawned and called omne to serve in Palutena's army)
