Etheria, the vital energy every being posses, the heart of legazies is able to chanel this powerfull source to feed their abilities, however, the amount of etheria the heart can chanel is limited by how much the heart is able to take. Now imagine that such limiter doesn´t exist, that the legazy heart becames so resistantl that it can channel limitless amount of etheria without any negative effects, thats what a true awakening is, thats what we call a CRISIS mode.Awakening or crisis mode is a special ability very few creatures are able to use, a lot try for years to obtain it and very few manage it, thats because an awakening comes as a necesity, not as a wish, who wish to unlock it must have allready a extremely powerfull heart and must have gone trough a near death experience, then, just then the heart will react to the will to live and unlock its full potential. those conditions of unlocking is also the reason to have been named "crisis" mode

no, the form power will depend of how powerfull the user was before transforming, because while the heart limit is lifted, allowing then to channel energy endesly, the "body" has its limits of how much it can stand, so particular abuse of the power channeled can lead to the form ending unespectely and severe weakening/inability to use abilities after.
so in order to be able to draw more power while transformed they need to train their "un"transformed state more. in this particular pic, even in crisis mode, Vyse is still way below in power to the strongest characters of Blaze Legazy; like Pirus dragonjuno.deviantart.com/art/…

Sounds similar to the Soul Release concept I've came up with. To use it one must come to terms with the part of themselves they aren't proud of aka dark half/inner self and accept it. Doing so allows them to transform into an extremely powerful form for a time. However it's risky because if you screw it up you'll lose control for the duration and your evil half will take control.

thats an interesting concept, but from what you´re telling me Soul Release happens by coming in terms with your dark side, and the risk of losing control is the evil half taking control right? Crisis mode is more like if the creature heart strengh "bottleneck" (search the term) limits the amount of power one can use, but triggering CM deactivate this limiter, allowing them to chanel power at an endless rate without (short term) side effect, the only negative effect is that it puts the heart into a incredible strain, long use might temporary lead to complete shut down of one powers (in the first half of my series. in the second part that means the inhability of humans and their legazy partners to perform a cross synchro)

I see. Your concept is also interesting. They also have the similarly that the power was always there just inaccessible.
However Soul Release to be more accurate is about coming to terms with your true self. To access it you need to accept your darkness as well as your light and the conditions required to achieve this form as well as the extent, power, and duration of the transformation vary from person to person.
