There are many ways to create a specular map, im not saying this is the right way but this is how i do it.Youtube tutorial

the sfxt dds files are in a blue alpha channelΒ

For bestly maps (lightmaps, shadow, bump and specular) from diffuse I use ShaderMap Pro - free software with good working

i have that to but doing it yourself gets you better spec map

o wow u me think alike i use gimp to make spec maps, only maps i cant make are the blue ones because i cant find the plug in to make the blue maps in gimp 2.8

in gimp its a plug-in called insane bump, it can make normal maps for you, or you can use photoshop, or map genarator, i useΒ www.crazybump.com/ thats pretty good aw well

the body color is purple when i load the model i added the light map in ascii by changing number layer from 3 to 4 adding (body base.light.nrm.spec)Β
