I needed a walk cycle of Glitch for an animation I was doing with him and Noodle (GO WATCH IT HERE:Β youtu.be/rorRqEHO1rc ) and I thought I'd post it here.Β In the actual animation the walk cycle is slowed down to about half this speed but the program I made the gif in didn't wanna let meRelated content

Thanks ^^ honestly it's a combination of two things: "onion layers" (the opacity of the frames before and after the one I'm working on are set lower so I can see where the inbetween needs to go (some programs do it for you with an option vs doing it yourself)), and not too complex character designs. The character design thing is a bit different from person to person, like I could animate the line art all day and not get tired of it, but ask me to color all the frames and I'm going to lose my mind, where as others are the reverse (I did a poll on my Instagram and it was a pretty close 50/50 split on what animators hated more, Lineart or coloring)
