I based it around the design of the Large Breed subspecies of Arachne from the Daily Life with a Monster Girl series. I'm particularly fond of the species concept (in both the physical design and their aggressive nature), so I decided to design a character based on it for a fanfiction I'm working. I wanted to give it my own personal twist, as well as make it less "sexualized" than the official artwork. I've been commissioning artwork of many of my characters from various artists and, including Thera, Dragonmanx has done four of them so far.
