I had this art finished a few days ago, and I finished looking over and editing the script last night, so I might as well get this posted now.

So yeah! At last, I am starting on posting my comic idea that I've been talking about! As I mentioned in my journal, I'll be doing cover page art for each chapter, and then uploading the actual scripts to my Sta.sh and just linking from there. I don't feel like they really go with the rest of my arts and stuff, though I may move them over to my scraps if I end up running out of room in Sta.sh. :u

Anyways! With the scripts, I have my own special formatting on how I organize things, so I also uploaded a guide to help understand my format.

And now finally, the first chapter ! I am not that good of a writer, but I hope it's at least interesting! Though also, I will say, this whole comic series starts off from Maddy and Match meeting for the first time (with this particular chapter basically being a few months before the first episode of the anime), and things do not start off good, if the cover page did not already tip you off. Heck, they actually don't end up getting along until the 9th chapter, and their first date in the 10th. And there's 16 chapters totally, not counting... maybe 2 or 3 "half" chapters too?

I will actually need to write a chapter 3.5 because I figured it would help be a better bridge into the rest of their relationship. Mainly because, Maddy screws up pretty badly in the first three chapters, so it would probably work better to show that she's not too much of a jerk that she won't apologize for something she feels genuinely guilty about... well, my version of Maddy, at any rate.

So, it's gonna take a while before they get into a happy relationship that's good for the both of them. But hopefully it will be worth it! Also, I just realized, is this what they call a "slow burn" fanfiction, kinda? Eh, whatever it's called, even if just a few people end up liking this whole idea of mine, I'll consider it a success!

(Also, it probably goes without sayings, but if you see any typos or if any wording sounds weird, please let me know! English is my first language, but sometimes I end up writing a sentence that makes no sense and not notice until I try to read it later. Or otherwise I end up repeating the same phrase in one sentence without meaning to, or writing a rambly sentence when a shorter one works better, stuff like that. :u So yeah, let me know, if anything sounds off, please and thank you!)

Edit: Oh wait, one last thing, I forgot to talk about the art! Overall I liked how this turned out, but also, I tried to make Match's arm look like he has it raised toward the view (so like foreshortening), but it just looks like his arm is just weirdly shorter than it should be. Augh! Welp, at least I tried, and I can admit my try was not that good. :u
