Yaaay, I can finally post this! 
This was my entry for RockMiyabi 's 2020 Valentines Contest ! I didn't win any of the prizes, but I was expecting as much. The competition for these contests is usually a lot more fierce than the other contests he hosts! At least, that's the impression I get. :u
Anyways, I made my entry for the talent category of the contest, which is all about making a drawing based on rose colors and symbolism. From this page about rose colors, I ended up going with orange (Passion, Desire and Fierce Love) for the main color, and pink (Sweetness, Admiration and Joy) and red (Ultimate Love, Passion and Longing) for the complimentary colors. So basically working with those three as a color palette.
And using Maddy and Match as the ship subject matter, of course. Basically the idea being Match gave Maddy some roses and then this happened, pretty straightforward. 
Overall, I really love how this turned out, huzzah! Maybe I'll try another monochrome/limited palette drawing again in the future.
