Made this for my girlfriend and I last April. I've had this fascination with popcorn shrimp every since I learned they existed. Not sure why. Sadly, I've never found a place that made them so I said "Fuck it, let's make'em!"

And low and behold they turned out pretty damn good.

Though I must say, if you are going to bread something, make sure you use powdered cheese in with the flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Really makes a difference.
