If you saw my last couple uploads you might have had an inkling this was coming. Did them each as their own illustration but merged and modified them a bit, Godzilla is glowing as he's getting his Atomic breath ready and Kong's axe is a bit glowier. Didn't plan on flipping the canvas but after doing so it flowed a little better, strange how a simple change like that makes a difference. In most cultures where we read left to right, it is natural for the eyes to start in the upper left and hand corner and kind of flow to the right and down, so while I didn't plan it from the beginning I think that's what makes the difference.

Last year I got my Godzilla King of the Monsters illustration printed at 24 x 36" poster size. Might have this one printed at poster size as well but I will make sure to lighten it a bit, this and the Dragon Triad illustration both printed dark compared with how they look on screen. It wasn't bad enough to complain/have them redone but will be something to keep in mind. Just had them printed at Walmart print center, the quality is good aside from the darkness. Have had prints done at Meijer and Walgreens too, they are good also but Walmart was the cheapest for the poster size.
