He was taught and grew up with the lightrens who treated like his family until a dark cloud loomed over head and a dragon of darkness destroyed it all. From that point he swore revenge on Cinder and set off, teaming up with Spyro on the way. But after finding how Cinder was just being used, he felt sorry for her and instead of finishing her; picked her back up.
