Digi nervously broke the silence ”Hello there” He happily chimed, smiling. Gloyd’s mother turned to face Digi ”hello~ I’m Cansy Orangeboar”. “and I’m Gumple Orangeboar” His father continued. They seemed to stare at Digi for a small moment as if something was up?! Sparkz smiled” its nice to meet you”. Cansy spoke to them ”when I heard my little Gloydie was hurt, I almost started crying! my poor little Gloydie~”.Gloyd blushed from embarrassment “MOM! your embarrassing me!.....”He whined. Sparkz and Digi chuckled and snickered. “oh sorry son~”Cansy apologised.
Gumple stepped close to Gloyd’s bed and spoke to his son “well, Gloyd we brought something to make you feel better “ He pulled a small box out of pocket and gave it to Gloyd. Gloyd opened the box and a look of excitement jumped onto his face “OH MY GOB!”He exclaimed “a MP3-player! thanks mom and dad!” Digi came over quickly and tried to look at the music on the iPod “Oh that’s awesome! What kind of music do you like, Gloyd?” He questioned. “All kinds! but I will NEVER listen to Justin Bieber! THAT GUY IS ***!!!”Gloyd’s reply came direct and distinct. Digi followed the opinion speaking while coughing “And a little girl!”. Digi laughed, He was the only one laughing though! Cansy looked sternly at her son “mind your language honey~” she asked politely.
“heh......sure mom” Gloyd replied. Sparkz spoke “I agree, Justin Bieber is *** and UGLY!!!!” Sparkz and Gloyd began laughing. Gumple turned for the day, he was late for a meeting.” well, we'll see you tomorrow son~”He informed. “see you soon my little Gloydie” Cansy spoke before kissing Gloyd on the cheek. Gloyd fidgeted “MOM!! your embarrassing me again!”. “oh sorry....”She apologised again. Gloyd`s parents left. Digi seemed a little upset “ heh ,you have really kind parents , you know that Gloyd... I wish I had parents!”. Sparkz looked at the digital hero with confusion, “But don't you have a last name Digi? isn't it.....Teku?”She asked. Digi sniffled and replied “ Yeah....I was `designed` with a last name “. He put emphasis on the word designed! He looked down sadly at his feet. Sparkz sighed “well......ugh.....I got nothing....”, Gloyd face palmed and Bubble entered the room quietly. ”ugh...hello? you in here Gloyd?” She asked timidly. Gloyd replied on seeing the aqua racer “oh hi bubble~” Digi Blushed slightly, Hiding it from Bubble.”Hello, Bubble~”He smiled. He Put an arm around Sparkz “You may have nothing parent wise, like me. But at least you have a family. You know... Spirit, she’s your sis isn`t she? I would love to have a brother!” He was saying all the wrong things! He had misunderstood what Sparkz had meant by `I got nothing` .Sparkz growled at Digi, taking great offence”....get your arm off me before I BREAK IT!” She threatened. Bubble and Gloyd froze with shock. Digi quickly retreated removing his arm “Ok! ok!geeze sorry!” Sparkz just continued to growl, Gloyd watched her with wishful eyes, `god, she is cute when she’s angry` He thought. Digi looked over at Bubble for advice, a scared look on his face “Uh... Bubble? what did i do wrong?!?!”He asked. Bubble replied calmly “ you did nothing~ I just came to see if Gloyd is ok!”.Sparkz stopped growling and sighed quietly “ok I’m leaving, see ya tomorrow Gloyd~”Gloyd smiled “see ya!”He chimed. Bubble turned for the door “I gots to go too! I’m going on another date swizzle~” Gloyd nodded and Digi clenched his fist with anger at the mention of that name! ” Well I’m staying with Gloyd, if that’s ok?” Digi spoke. Sparkz got slightly agitated with how Digi was acting “what’s with you?....” She whispered as she left with Bubble.

As soon as they had left Gloyd turned to Digi ”your angry cause Bubble brought up swizzle aren't you?”He asked kindly. Digi replied quietly “Yeah~”. Gloyd yawned ”well its really nice of all my best friends to come see me today” It was obvious he was tired by his vocal pattern, slow actions and constant yawning. Digi Looked at Gloyd for a few moments then spoke, “I would like to stay with you tonight if that’s ok... You’re like a brother to me and it’s the least I can do!” “you gotta ask the nurse......”Gloyd replied ,speaking between yawns. He then seemed to go to sleep. Digi ran off to the front desk “Excuse me.. could i stay here tonight?” He politely asked. The women behind the counter looked at his with surprise. ” Digi? We though Sparkz would be staying, sure . will you need anything..?” She asked. “Its fine” Digi replied before going to his kart, grabbing his special blanket from the storage box then running back to the room Gloyd was in. All this noise had woken Gloyd up, He opened one eye slowly and slightly. “what did she say?”He asked. Digi was huddling up in the blanket.” She said i could stay” He laid down on the visitor sofa and stared at the ceiling “So you asked her out yet? Sparkz, I mean?”Digi asked. Gloyd seemed troubled as he replied, “no.......I don’t think I can Digi! can we ….just get some sleep?”. Digi nodded “Sure thing !” He yawns and they both slowly drifted off to sleep. One of the staff walked in and turned off the lights in the room as she passed by. That night Digi had yet another great dream where Him and Gloyd are brothers and he is going out with Bubble. He Smiled in his sleep at his absolution!
