“FLAMETHROWER NOW” A voice bellowed through the valley and into the plain. A flygon buzzed in the air and attacked the earth bellow keeping the shadow away from the cage. It stayed in the air where it was out of range. The shadow looked up and roared in anger, This was the perfect striking chance! A bullet zipped through the air and through the shadow. It wobbled back as more black liquid oozed out of the bullet wound! A second bullet shot, This time getting lodged in the shadows shoulder. The bullet flashed as erupted into a Bright flash of electricity which raged across the shadows causing extensive damage! The Shadow fell to one knee and looked up “ Come to Save `em all `ave you!” It roared, each word sounding painful “Show yourself coward”. The flygon from before vanished in a bright light and footsteps echoed as Crona walked onto the scene. “I don`t like being a coward! You got me!” He bitterly spoke. Lilly removed Tekz tail on hearing Crona`s smooth voice but was shocked to see him. He was a little banged up, dirty and was bleeding from his lip slightly. His clothes were ripped in places but he was intact and that’s what mattered! Crona activated his light blade. It made a sharp slashing noise as it activated, glowing like sunlight through an orange stain glass window. The shadow now seemed more fearful and hobbled backwards as Crona approached. Fear even presented in its voice as it stumbled over words. Digi regained life and opened his eye slightly. He could see what Crona couldn`t and it scared him! As the shadow stopped in front of the cage so did Crona.“So you gonna give Lilly and Tekz back?” Crona asked sarcastically. The shadow chuckled as a grin grew on its face “ Hell no! But you`ll be seeing shadows soon!”It evilly replied pulling out a Virtu-Bomb from its back pocket and threw it at Crona! Crona went to the defensive, Trying to defend, But in all fairness he wouldn`t survive a Bomb defending with just his arms! As the bomb came within damaging range the area flashed white. Time slowed down as it usually did in last moments of life! Digi had grabbed the bomb in mid leap! As time sped back up Digi span and returned the explosive. It landed near the shadow who desperately tried to escape but couldn`t life his leg. He looked back into the cage and screamed in panic, Tekz had grabbed its trouser leg in her powerful jaws and refused to let go! She had also curled Lilly safely in between her tail! The shadow Roared in anger as the bomb exploded sending its body flying. Tekz absorbed the shock and it caused her to warm up slightly which was relaxing for Lilly. Crona patted Digi on the head “Nice work… and thanks for saving me”. Digi just smiled as much as he could without It hurting too much. The body landed, Flopping onto the floor. To everyone’s surprise the shadow was still alive as Digi and Crona walked over to it. It grabbed Crona’s leg in a last attempt to succeed in destroying something. Digi reached his claws into the sky and plummeted his hand through the shadows chest pulling out a green glowing cube which he quickly smashed in his hand. A few small files popped up for a few seconds and Digi sighed. “Im sorry it had to end like this, Bullet…Bullet Mc steel!” He mumbled sadly as the body faded into nothing. Crona looked over at the digital hero and wondered what the heck he was talking about. “I`ll tell you everything on the way home!” Digi spoke, refusing to look back up from where the racers body once laid.
A bark from Tekz brought Digi back to reality, The two walked over to the cage and forced the lock to open. Lilly was first out. She peeked out from behind Tekz tail and ran to Crona upon seeing him, happily chiming “Crona!~”. She completely ignored Digi which honestly he was ok with! Crona went down onto one knee and Lilly climbed up and sat in his arms. She sadly eyed his cuts, “Are you ok?” She asked obviously worried for Crona. Crona stood up, Lilly wrapped up in his arms and smiled. “Am now your safe!”He replied. Digi frowned. Seeing this family-like love really hit hi hard; Being that he never had a family and with the way Bubble seemed to undyingly want Swizzle, Never would. Tekz gracefully walked out of the cage and over to her owner. She brushed her head against Digi’s leg, practically asking to be stroked. Digi stroked his pets head and smiled, He had Tekz as family and for now that was good enough. Digi was full of joy but yet as usual in the back of his mind questions were rambling away!
