Description
The sky turned amber as the Sun hid behind The Fix-It Flats; The main building in the whole game. `Wow` Digi thought looking up, `This late already?` Digi had spent the whole day exploring the Jungle of brick and concrete on foot. He was actually quite surprised to how the public acted towards him. Instead of getting the usual abuse and violence thrown at him ,the residents showed great levels of kindness, Usually welcoming him to the neighbourhood. The day had been pleasantly cool with the slightest breeze, It was a shame it was ending. Digi turned right to walk down the next street when he heard the sounds of an engine revving, mixed in with what he could just make out as his name being called. He stopped on the spot and turned. A frosted kart came speeding in his direction, slowing down the closer it got. Vanellope stopped and looked up at the Digi-Hero. “Jump on Didg” She ordered “ We got something to show ya!”. Digi clambered onto the back of her kart and held on tightly as she sped off at unsafe speeds. She was obviously in a huge hurry but why?The brakes screeched as the kart skidded to a stop. The force wasn`t much but it was enough to send Digi rolling over the front of the kart where he laid dazed for a few moments, His head spinning. He violently shook his head and got up. “Vanellope…Please don`t try to KILL us next time!” Digi spoke, Un-amused with what he just went through. Vanellope scratched the back of her head and apologised. A gate creaked on the other side of the pavement. Digi and Vanellope`s heads turned. Digi`s jaw dropped at the sight he was met by. A huge brick house stood tall and proud, Felix stood in the gateway. Digi instantly recognised the house from his blue prints, “Is this…” He found speaking hard. Felix nodded. Digi sprang to his feet and ran to the gate. He looked at the house. It was just as he imagined it except the windows were far more tinted or covered up which was strange regarding usually such is left unchanged. Felix moved aside and Digi walked onto the front path, The loose stone path made a crunch under his weight. It was perfect, This was `His` home! He only had a few seconds to admire though as before he knew it Vanellope was pushing him towards the front door. Suddenly feeling uncomfortable questions started rushing into Digi`s head; The main one being `Did something just move in there?! What`s going on?!`
