As Digi leaped into his kart and looked around. Huh? That’s strange he thought to himself, 12 karts now… He guessed the no-show actually showed up in the end. One by one the box stands opened and the candy people popped out, cheering with excitement. A sick feeling overcame Digi , It had been a while since he last was in a race. Sour Bill stepped forward, Looks like Vanellope was still out. The Sour drop was about to open his mouth when Vanellope made her big appearance. Did she just…. Play a prank on everyone! Well prank or not, Digi chuckled happily. “Welcome everyone!” Vanellope announced, “ What an once-in-a-lifetime race we have here tonight. I`ve already recapped the racers on the boring rules so let’s just get ahead with introducing the star chasers. In order the racers are; Taffyta Muttonfudge ; Sparkz Zapster ; Swizzle Malarky ; Alice Cees ; Crona Schweetz; Galaxia Starshine; Digi-Tal Teku; Coxi Mode; Rancis Fluggerbutter; Tango McMango; Lico Blackness and a late turn up, Dravix Wyvern! “Hearing that name again made Digi shiver. Vanellope continued, “No ready, set this time folks. Just keep your eyes to the skies! We are a few moments away from the start of something beautiful. Racers try not to get distracted, ok?” She giggled. Each racer ignited their engines with ease and the mechanical revving filled the scream filled air. The crowd cheered louder as the engines came to life. Back in the central plaza of the fair, many of the characters had gathered to watch the race unfold on the stage screen. Anticipation was highly mounting as the time grew closer and hence more unpredictable.
